Station is a Dutch Colonial whose original character remained, but whose interior no longer supported the way the home was lived in. Closed rooms, limited natural light, and spaces disconnected from their purpose presented an opportunity to reconsider the relationship between movement, function, and architecture.

The floor plan was opened and reconfigured, allowing rooms to assume new purposes and creating a more intuitive rhythm throughout the home. New windows draw daylight deeper into the interior, while a bright, restrained palette amplifies its effect. Existing exposed brick was preserved for warmth and history, balanced by architectural lighting and considered modern details.

What emerged is a home with renewed ease and clarity, where thoughtful spatial planning allows its original character to be experienced in an entirely new way.
